We are once again recruiting for this global, multinational manufacturer and they are currently on the lookout for a resilient and seasoned Security Lead. If you’re passionate about security and have the experience to match, this is your chance to manage the Security for our client’s security function and oversee all related activities within a globally-recognised organisation. Essentially, You will act as the key contact and counselor to Security teams or designates and management, including commercial, manufacturing, and other business units, for all security issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the charge on local security, aligning with Corporate strategy and Company commitments.
  • Shape and guide the local Security team, ensuring they receive top-notch training.
  • Be a sharp-eyed evaluator of emerging business models, highlighting security risks to stakeholders.
  • Take the reins in identifying and resolving security issues within the organisation and keep a vigilant eye on risk exposure, both external and internal.
  • Keep those lines of communication open with corporate management while strategizing in sync with corporate objectives.
  • Rally the troops at every level, fostering a culture of safety and standards adherence.
  • Dive headfirst into security risk assessments, incident response, and thorough investigations.
  • Bring the company’s security strategies to life and keep the quest for continuous improvement alive.
  • Be the guardian of compliance with company security standards and local safety regulations.
  • Craft and deliver impactful security training programs to nurture a robust safety culture.
  • Provide expert guidance in emergency response management and employee communication.
  • Develop, implement, and manage emergency response protocols and incident investigation processes.
  • Make sure our client’s fleet is equipped with top-tier safety standards, aligning with company Fleet Safety requirement

Requirements:

  • Experience in a corporate, operational security environment or related area, preferably in a country security/safety manager role or equivalent.
  • Professional Certifications and/or Occupational Trainings.
  • Proper qualifications as per local legal requirements.
  • Developed knowledge of specialist security systems; working knowledge of OHS / NEBOSH best practices beneficial.
  • Full professional proficiency in French, Arabic, English language skills is a must.
  • MS Office Package, Power BI is a plus.
  • Experience conducting security risk assessments and security audits, familiarity with supply chain security standards (i.e. TAPA, C-TPAT), OHS training or certifications (such as NIOSH or equivalent) a plus.
  • Understanding of crisis management and emergency response best practice; knowledge of fleet safety best practices a significant advantage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a high level of personal and professional integrity.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity in a complex organizational set-up and able to build strong business relationships and smart partnerships.
  • Ability to analyze data and interpret, administer risk, threat, and intelligence programs.
