Security Manager – Western Europe

Our client is a US manufacturer with a portfolio of brands and products that contribute towards making them one of the largest in their market. Their global security team is equally impressive, and this newly created role will play a key part in security their Western European markets. Your main areas of responsibility will be:

• Implement a Security plan to mitigate risks to people and assets alike.
• Take care of Crisis management and Business continuity plans, as well as implementing security risk assessments and reviews.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with all Business stakeholders and departments.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and authorities to identify threats to the business.
• Act as a security evangelist for your region; conducting training sessions, growing the security literacy of non-security team members etc.
• Implement and execute regional investigations.

Key skills and experience:

• A good working knowledge of the ISO 31000 Risk Management standard and 22301 Business Continuity standard would be beneficial.
• Relevant experience in security management with a good understanding of best security practices and principles.
• Fluent in English, Spanish is a big plus.
• Proactive and accountable senior staff member that is able to deliver against targets and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
• Effective written and oral communication skills and an analytical approach is a must.
• Must be flexible for travel in and around the Western Europe area but not limited to.
