Security Manager – North & West Africa

We are looking for an experienced Security Manager, possessing a solid background in security, crisis and risk management, to cover our client’s fast-growing North and West Africa region.

Reporting into the Regional Corporate Security Director based at the Head Office in Europe, your key focus will be on performing risk analysis across your region and establishing the requisite security related procedures. Whilst a relatively senior role, you’ll be a ‘hands on’ individual, as you will be very involved in the implementation of practices targeted at leading local crisis management.

Your main areas of responsibility shall be:

• Performing risk assessments within the area.
• Establishing and rolling out security related programs.
• Taking care of safety-related initiatives, exercises and drills.
• Performing the corporate security audit program, background checks and due diligence and investigations.
• Managing corporate knowledge, records, promoting relevant best practices in order to ensure continuous improvement of corporate security deliverables.
• You will act as a liaison with market heads, law enforcement institutions, intelligence, and security agencies.

Who are we looking for?

With experience in a military, law enforcement or intelligence organisation, you will also bring experience from the private sector. A fluent English and French speaker (Arabic would be a HUGE benefit), you will possess excellent knowledge of local legislations related to security and have an unrivaled overall knowledge of Northern and Western Africa.

You will be able to demonstrate your excellent interpersonal and communication skills, showcase solid leadership potential and possess a strong analytical mindset and strategic thinking.

A sense of accountability and proactivity is a must, along with the ability to find solutions and drive results.
