Their footprint is vast and stretches not only across the Americas, but throughout, Asia and Australia and New Zealand. With this growth has come an opportunity for an experienced Security Leader to join the company, based from either London or Amsterdam and focusing on all of the business outside of the Americas.

Reporting into the Group Security Director, you will have sole responsibility for the development and management of security processes and procedures across the region, as well as providing timely and consistent security reports and advice to the leadership for our client.

A significant amount of travel will be expected with this role, likely to be around 60% in the first year.

Responsibilities:

· Act as the lead security advisor for all operating companies within the European business unit.

· Develop robust and consistent security policies and processes throughout the organisation, encompassing physical security, travel security, background screening, and investigations.

· Serve as the central point of contact for addressing travel security risk management issues within the business.

· Ensure appropriate security levels for company events and the protection of senior executives.

· Function as a subject matter expert (SME) for all required investigations.

· Assist business leadership and Global Mobility leaders in creating suitable support programs for International Assignees within the company.

· Provide direct assistance to operating companies and regional/business leadership in coordinating incident responses and managing crises.

· Maintain a security risk register.

· Offer early warnings regarding security risks and conduct regular local and regional threat and risk assessments.

· Provide specific advice and guidance on local and regional political risk and instability, and the resulting potential impact on the business.

· Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies, government security entities, and private security/intelligence providers.

Requirements:

· An experienced security professional with an extensive background in the region, ideally including Ukraine/Eastern Europe, and a broad network of security contacts across various levels within it.

· Proficient in commercial/corporate security, investigations, risk management, security consulting, law enforcement, military service, other government security roles, or a combination thereof.

· Possess gravitas and interpersonal skills to successfully engage with executive-level leadership, as well as senior government security and intelligence officials.

· Demonstrate a proven track record of operating effectively at all levels, from tactical execution to strategic planning.

· Show a demonstrated ability to excel in a multicultural, international, and global business environment.

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

· Exhibit cultural sensitivity in all interactions.

· Proven expertise in building meaningful relationships and influencing key stakeholders.

· High levels of emotional and social intelligence.

· The ability to work independently and autonomously.

· Experienced in managing crisis events effectively.
