Health and Safety Lead

Our client is a globally recognised entertainment brand, that are looking for a new Health and Safety Lead (H&S Lead), to oversee their corporate facilities in the UK and ensuring world class Health and Safety. The position reports in the Head of H&S, and as a member of the H&S leadership team you will work closely with various business functions to implement and improve Health and Safety processes.

As the H&S Lead you will have a diverse role that is essential to the effective operation of the organisation, managing all aspects of corporate safety and wellbeing such as incident management, H&S awareness, property and facilities compliance and developing new operating procedures and policies. You will be supported by a team of experienced H&S professionals that you will be the direct line manager to.

This is a hybrid role, with three days expected in the office, Surrey/Kent area. Occasional international travel may also be required.

Main Duties:

• Own the H&S audit and compliance process, acting as an evangelist for H&S culture.
• Investigate and act as an escalation point for all accidents and incidents.
• Produce monthly performance reports, analyse and review strategies for effectiveness.
• Continuous development of H&S procedures, creating new strategies and policies with the SLT.
• Build and mange relationships with external service providers.

Key Skills:

• Experience in UK workplace H&S Operations.
• Experience utilising Health and Safety Management systems effectively, ensure relevant data is tracked for later reporting.
• Demonstratable experience managing a team of H&S professionals and show an ability to work well in cross-functional teams with other department heads.
• Experience with ISO45001, is advantageous.
