We are partnered with an established technology risk and resilience organisation, who are looking for an experienced Head of Sales Operations to oversee both their bid management and business development operations, working closely with the CEO to ensure that their sales activities are aligned across the business, globally.

Working alongside the CEO, you will be responsible for managing the firm’s CRM and creating new sales processes and procedures that will form the foundations of the firm’s future sales operations. New business development and tender management will also be a significant aspect of this position, making it a double-sided role with fantastic responsibilities and exposure across the breath of the company.

Who are you?

You will possess a proven track record in B2B SaaS or software companies, with a demonstrable track record in successfully in leading sales operations within a technology-driven environment.  Security industry and technology experience would be hugely additive and you’ll bring a unique combination of technical, analytical and leadership qualities to the table.

You will also have strong capabilities in technical write-ups, proposal management, and comprehensive bid management, with the ability to craft detailed, persuasive proposals and manage complex sales bids effectively.  Experience with technologies specific to risk, crisis management and resilience management would be hugely beneficial, enabling and empowering the company to leverage cutting-edge solutions to enhance business resilience.


  • Bid Management:
    • Lead bid management processes, including proposal development, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
    • Drive business development initiatives to identify and pursue new opportunities for growth.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop winning strategies for bids and BD activities.
  • Sales Operations:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for sales operations, providing support to the CEO and sales team members.
    • Develop and implement sales processes, tools, and methodologies to optimise performance and efficiency.
    • Actively monitor sales metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and drive actionable insights.
    • Coordinating sales training to SDRs, Sales VPs and others in the team to ensure consistent sales methodology and processes
    • Manage and organise weekly, monthly and quarterly sales meetings.
    • Collate sales KPI periodically and share insights with CEO & wider sales on current and upcoming opportunities and challenges within the sales funnel and forecast.
    • Coordinate lead management within the sales process with Marketing from target companies and markets.
  • PMO for Sales:
    • Establish and maintain a project management office (PMO) for sales initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and priorities.
    • Coordinate project plans, timelines, and resources to support the successful execution of sales projects and initiatives.
  • CRM System Ownership:
    • Manage and administer the HubSpot CRM system, leveraging its capabilities to support sales and marketing efforts.
    • Provide training and support to sales team members on HubSpot usage and best practices.
    • Continuously assess and optimize HubSpot configurations to meet evolving business needs.
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Participate in strategic planning sessions with senior leadership to define market strategies and objectives.
    • Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.
