GSOC Supervisor

Our client is a well known Crisis, Risk and Resilience consultancy, with global operations and a client portfolio filled with household names. They are looking for two GSOC Supervisors to support a client in the Information Technology space. The shifts are late and night shifts, and the working week is from Tuesday to Sunday.

As a GSOC Supervisor you will lead a team of analysts in charge of 24/7 monitoring of the client’s sites, investigating alarms, access control, and incident management. Working closely with the GSOC Manager you will ensure that best practices are adhered to, and incidents are escalated and investigated appropriately.

This position is ideal for someone who has been a Lead Analyst/ Supervisor previously looking for a new challenge or a Senior Analyst that is ready to take on more responsibilities.

 Responsibilities:

• Manage, review and escalate all incidents, support other departments with investigations (HR, Finance, facilities etc).
• Develop the analysts on your team, taking a vested interest in the professional goals of your team members. Provide ad hoc training and offer constructive improvements.
• Ensure company and clients SOPs are strictly adhered to.
• Create reports and deliver critical information to relevant stakeholders.
• Work with the GSOC Manager to improve upon processes and keep clear, open communication with other GSOC team members to ensure no gaps in awareness.

Experience:

• Experience in a similar position within a large enterprise company, ideally in the IT Sector.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and ways of working.
• Able to prioritise tasks and work within a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Great communication skills, written and verbal.
• Interested in Security/ Intelligence space, up to date on trends, threats and topical news.
