Job Description
We are proud to be partnered with a US multinational consumer goods company, whose products will be found in almost every household across the globe. They are now looking for a Regional Security Manager to take responsibility for the Safety, Security and Business Continuity of their personnel and facilities across the Asia-pacific region, an exciting geography that includes China and Australasia. As such, excellent communication in English and Mandarin, will be necessary for success in this position.
Why would you join? Well, there are several major projects to quickly get involved in, from launching new operations, developing corporate security strategies and crisis management plans, as well as developing new policies and standard operating procedures.
As you would imagine, this is a senior position within the organisation and we are looking for someone with substantial experience in a corporate security function, ideally with experience in managing a region/cluster for a multinational company.
Main duties:
- Draught, develop and implement strategies to support all business operations, protect assets and people, whilst ensuring effective crisis response planning.
- Take the lead on regional crises, collaborating with other internal regional teams, local authorities and emergency response organisations.
- Lead investigations across theft, fraud, workplace violence, unauthorised information leaks, amongst other incidents.
- Implement security awareness campaigns, from delivering training and acting as a security evangelist, to collaborating with various departments such as HR and Operations.
- Build and maintain relationships across the organisation and with various vendors for (but not limited to) CP, security technology, emergency response, intelligence, site security etc. As well as local government agencies.
- Maintain an outstanding awareness of risk, both geopolitical and other wise, across the region. Analysing intelligence to mitigate risks effectively and share reports with SLT.
Key Skills:
- Well-rounded experience managing a region for an MNC, in a Security Manager/ Management, Loss Prevention or Investigations role.
- Ability to travel across the region.
- Comfortable developing and fostering relationships, showcasing strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience leading complex investigations.
- Experience in security design planning.
- Experience working with/ Knowledge of auditing standards like TAPA and CTPAT is considered beneficial.
- Able to read, write and speak fluently in English and Mandarin.
