Security Projects Manager
Location: UK remit
This is a great opportunity to join a great team within a truly global retail brand. You will be responsible for a range of stores and sites nationwide, but will be able to attend their London HQ once or twice weekly. This will initially be a short-term contract.
This role will see the incumbent be responsible for aligning the security integration of their sites and stores with the group-wide European strategy and objectives.
The role and project will be split into several phases, beginning with a tabletop review where you will review and analyse the available documentation available at each site and produce a summary of findings, including areas of concern etc. From here you will then look to conduct a risk assessment and site security survey of selected sites, perform a gap analysis of the sites against the companies security directives and collect the relevant data that will support an action plan for training, improvements, and the implementation of those aforementioned security directives
You will be responsible for producing high-quality written reports of these findings (risk assessment, gap analysis, recommendations, etc.) and be able to make actionable recommendations as to how each site can be made compliant. Those recommendations include, but are of course not limited to:
- Constructive measures
- Technical measures
- Organisational measures
- Industry best practices
- The report shall blend in findings of sites’ health & safety assessments (conducted separately)
- The report shall provide a suggested action plan and schedule
- Prepare an executive summary and PowerPoint presentation
So what are we looking for in a candidate? With either retail security or at the very least, experience in a multi-site role, you’ll be immediately available and possess demonstrable project management skills. With proven experience in conducting Risk Assessments and Gap analysis, you will possess security qualifications and be able to work independently and under pressure.
