Role briefing

Job Description

This is a wonderful opportunity to take on a key role within one of the most recognisable, innovative and exciting global brands on the planet.  You can be based anywhere in the US or Canada, as long as you are willing to travel. The team has inspirational leadership and is a really great place to be, where you will be given to chance to run with your ideas and really make the role your own.

Where are you now? You could be in retail (luxury would also work!) or you might be in manufacturing, we are pretty open-minded here. Online experience would be a real benefit, so maybe you’ve got involved in that within your current role – please do tell us if you have!

I have outlined just an excerpt of the job description and you will be expected to have demonstrable experience in the areas outlined. However, all these skillsets won’t be enough, if your experience isn’t underpinned by desire, energy and drive!  This short overview doesn’t even scrape the surface of the opportunity, so please read and digest, then register your interest below – so that I can tell you more the company and the team!

Our client’s Profit Protection team focuses on strategic loss identification, prevention and reduction, utilising market leading best practice, technology and people. The team sits at the heart of the business, working closely with the key elements of the omni- channel strategy and the cross-functional teams, working relentlessly to affect and influence the retail strategy and ensuring that security by design is a key consideration in the process.

Your remit will include investigations across a broad space, including the manufacturing environment, supply chain, offline and online retail, distribution of counterfeit goods as well as grey goods, new product launches, fraud, theft and false accounting.

As a result, prospective candidates will be able to evidence how they perform complex and highly sensitive investigations, ensuring that all investigations are conducted with professionalism, sensitivity and integrity. Another key area within this role will be the assessment of and addressing the risk to,  loss and security to the Offline Retail Stores, Supply Chain Facilities and Omni Channel environment, evaluating the risks of existing controls for weaknesses and really learning from the investigations undertaken. You will also ideally be experienced in conducting compliance audits and have well-developed networks with local law enforcement agencies, adept at building partnerships and closing out investigations.
