This newly created role will ensure that our client, giants in the consumer goods space, will benefit from effective, prevention-oriented, and sustainable security and readiness programs that mitigate risk to their people and assets, while facilitating business objectives in complex security environments.

You will serve as the technical security subject matter expert across most of the markets outside of the US, identifying and focusing on technical security solutions and front-end engineering design, at greenfield, expansion, acquisition and relocation projects.

This role will require you to –

  • Provide strategic/technical security design service across a large geographic spread, acting as the Security Project Manager responsible for the technical and commercial delivery of projects.
  • Provide a professional security strategy design service to in-house clients on projects.
  • Ensure service and project work are carried out within agreed deadlines and within budget.
  • Work competently on an independent basis.
  • Work collaboratively in a multidiscipline design team.
  • Communicate directly with internal clients and be able to lead meetings and present when required.
  • Prepare technical and financial proposals for new work.
  • Partner with the North America Technical Security Centre of Excellence engineers and technicians, to ensure ongoing alignment with corporate strategy and control standards.
  • Prepare and take responsibility for concept and preliminary strategy solutions for detail design.
  • Set up and manage job/project administrative systems, including planning and monitoring job resourcing/expenditure (adjusting these as necessary).
  • Ensure the senior management team are kept informed of important and relevant service/design decisions and the objectives of the client and the company are achieved.
  • Represent the function at meetings with the internal clients, other professionals, and suppliers.
  • Continually ensure that practices, policies, strategy, and services represent the company’s best interests, and that company policy is in keeping with relevant local legislation, standards and codes of practice etc.

Who are you?

With extensive experience in low voltage systems: physical security systems, life safety, network infrastructure, or related disciplines, you will have extensive design and coordination experience working with cross functional teams with owners, architects, and contractors.

With demonstrable experience in managing design engineering efforts, you will be well versed in developing a design program, instituting collaboration processes, and creating design standards. Proficient in 2D use of AutoCAD 2018 or later, with Revit knowledge not essential but definitely desirable, you’ll have experience of customer support/account management Technology Experience across.
