Global Security Director

Location: Mountain West States, USA (Hybrid)

Our client is a leading healthcare provider with a truly global operation, expanding operations across regions. They are developing their Global security programmes, to create a cohesive vision across all locations, therefore, they are looking for a new Global Security Director to continue this mission. As the Global Security Director, you will work closely with colleagues across regions to identify areas for improvements, develop regional/ country specific security plans and implement procedures to mitigate risk and ensure safety.

Main duties:

• Develop security programmes and operating procedures for all business units globally, in collaboration with the CSO and other regional security colleagues.
• Identify opportunities for updates in security technologies to mitigate threats and project manage the implementation of the tools.
• Good understanding of geopolitical security risks that could impact the business, monitor using 3^rd party intelligence sources.
• Investigate any security and workplace violence incidents across the region. Following up with appropriate action and feedback into policy to prevent reoccurrences.

Key Skills:

• Experience developing security programmes, policies and procedures from scratch, ideally at a regional or global level.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with internal senior leaders across departments.
• Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• A great communicator; across regions, internally, externally, online and face to face.
• Military, Intelligence services or Law enforcement experience is nice to have but not required.
