Corporate Security Manager

We are recruiting for a unique and globally recognised brand that are looking for a Corporate Security Manager to manage the implementation of security policies, processes and procedures specific to their logistics and aviation security requirements and the development of an insider threat programme.

Responsibilities

• Continuously develop our client’s logistics and aviation security policies and procedures, ensuring that all UK CAA aviation security legislative requirements are being met or exceeded
• Act as a key point of contact for aviation security regulatory agents for operational and audit purposes
• Develop an Insider Threat program to assess and mitigate insider threats that could exist within our client’s organisation
• Partner with HR and Third-Party Contractor relationship owners to implement robust vetting procedures for all personnel
• Manage specialist security and intelligence vendors at a tactical and strategic level
• Prepare high-standard investigation reports and provide recommendations for actions to minimize loss and mitigate control deficiencies for our client
• Support and implement security awareness training, including presentations, inductions and workshops

Requirements

• A proven track record in corporate security with exposure to international security operations
• Experience working in Aviation, Logistics or Cargo environments in a security capability as well as in vendor performance management and procurement
• Working experience and knowledge of EU 2015/1998 and Known Consignor requirements
• Experience in vendor performance management and procurement
• Aptitude to successfully navigate between business and security environments and needs, with an understanding of the local operating environment and how best to implement the highest industry standards
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
