Job Description
We are working with a leading corporate intelligence firm based in London with offices internationally. They are a fast-growing organisation and their talented team provides specialist due diligence, research and investigation services in supporting their clients across some of the most challenging jurisdictions and helping them to understand potential risks in order to allow them to make informed decisions, particularly in countries where the environment is rather opaque.
Their Associates play an important role in managing and developing the more junior cadre of analysts, driving continuous improvement in their research and analysis processes and leading case and client management. They also support leadership in business strategy, goals and plans and contribute to the continued growth of the business.
We are seeking candidates with experience in enhanced due diligence, business intelligence, investigative research or a similar industry to join this expanding due diligence team in London. The successful candidate will be looking for the next challenge in their career and will have the opportunity to shape ideas, drive improvement, learn and contribute towards a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
The role will comprise –
- Team management – Leading, managing and developing junior analysts
- Project management – Case management, including drafting proposals, managing adherence to procedures and processes, allocation, quality and delivery
- Organisational and multi-tasking skills in prioritising team resources and projects efficiently within timeframes and budgets
- Time management skills. Able to work effectively and calmly under tight deadlines and under pressure
- Client management skills including managing expectations, negotiation, handling client communication and briefing clients.
- Ability to create networks and build relationships both internally and externally including attending industry events
- Report writing
- Fluency in written and verbal English and ability to read and analyse complex texts in Russian (ability to speak Russian is desirable but not essential). Ability to research in other languages such as Polish, Czech, Slovak, Serbian, or Ukrainian is a bonus
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven track record of writing public record research and human source reports to a high standard.
